From 1 June 2026, Hakuba Village will begin applying a new accommodation tax to all guests staying in the area.

This tax helps support tourism facilities, protect the local environment, and provide assistance for visitors during emergencies. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in helping to preserve Hakuba’s beautiful natural surroundings.

At all Shiki Living properties, the accommodation tax is already included in the room rate, so you won’t need to make any additional payments when you arrive.
